Our message from Scotland

John Sturrock QC, the facilitator for our Low Carbon Mission event and a climate change mediator, has pointed out to our international audience the fact that Scots speak incredibly quickly when excited; very relevant given the passion our panel is displaying. There are also a few Scots words requiring explanation, well kent being the most used one when introducing our panel: Ian Marchant, chief executive of Scottish and Southern Energy, Duncan Maclaren of Friends of the Earth, Luc Bas of the Climate Group and Prof Alan Miller, of Scottish Human Rights.
